Depending on the severity of your gum disease, you may require multiple appointments to complete the deep cleaning process.

After the procedure, it is important to maintain good oral hygiene practices, such as brushing and flossing regularly, to prevent the buildup of plaque and calculus from returning.

Dental splinting is the process of using fixed or moveable restorations or devices to connect two or more teeth together rigidly. A periodontal splint is a device used to keep or stabilise movable teeth in their ideal position for chewing. Splinting’s primary goals are to encourage healing and improve the patient’s comfort and functionality.

Tooth roots that have receded from the gum line are visible. In cases of severe gingival recessions, flap surgery can cover the roots or grow gum tissue. This procedure lessens dental sensitivity, shields tooth roots from decay, and enhances the appearance of your mouth.

Grafting adds volume to the parts such as the jaw which have suffered bone loss or need additional support. The bone that is infused in this part is taken from another part of the body and is infused surgically.

A synthetic membrane serves as a barrier in the advanced treatment known as GTR. By using the barrier, it is possible to restrict the area’s ability to receive bone and newly emerging tissues while preventing the migration of undesirable fast-growing tissues to the tooth and supporting bone.
